These terms apply to purchases made through www.carbon-performanceuk.com by customers buying for personal use. Please read them before placing an order.

2. Products and compatibility

Our products are aftermarket accessories unless expressly described otherwise. Vehicle manufacturer names and model references are used to identify compatibility and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Please check the product description, specifications and compatibility information before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your vehicle details and a photograph of your existing part.

We remain responsible for the accuracy of our descriptions and any compatibility advice we provide based on accurate information supplied by you.

Product images are illustrative. Minor differences in carbon-fibre weave, material texture or screen colour may occur, but the product must match its description and any agreed specification.

3. Orders and payments

All website payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable VAT. Any delivery charges are displayed before payment.

An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order. Your order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been accepted or dispatched.

If we cannot accept an order because of availability, an incorrect price or another genuine issue, we will contact you and refund any payment taken. We will not substitute a product or charge a higher price without your agreement.

4. Delivery

Delivery options and estimated times are shown at checkout or agreed with you separately. Bespoke and made-to-order products may require additional production time, which will be explained before you order.

Unless we agree otherwise, goods will be delivered within 30 days of accepting your order. If a delay occurs, we will contact you. Your legal rights concerning late or failed delivery remain unaffected.

Products remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or someone you nominate, except where you independently appoint a carrier we have not offered.

Please check your delivery and contact us promptly about damage, missing items or an incorrect product. A delay in reporting does not automatically remove your legal rights.

5. Our 30-day returns policy

For eligible standard, non-personalised products, you may change your mind and request a return within 30 days after delivery.

Email info@carbon-performanceuk.com with your order number and details of the item. Once you have notified us, send the goods back within 14 days. Contact us for the correct return address before posting; our registered office may not be the returns location.

For change-of-mind returns:

• You are responsible for return postage.
• Please package the item securely and retain proof of postage.
• Return all supplied accessories and components.
• Please use the original packaging where possible.
• You may inspect the product as you would in a shop. We may deduct a reasonable amount for reduced value caused by handling, fitting or use beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

Our 30-day policy extends the usual online cancellation period and does not restrict your statutory rights.

6. Refunds

For eligible change-of-mind returns, refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

Refunds are made to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise, without a refund administration fee.

If you cancel your entire order, we will also refund any basic outbound delivery charge paid. Additional charges for an upgraded delivery service are not refundable for change-of-mind cancellations.

Different rules may apply to faulty goods, and we will process those refunds within the legally required timeframe.

7. Bespoke and personalised orders

Products genuinely made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from change-of-mind cancellation and returns, unless we agree otherwise. This will be made clear before your order is accepted.

A standard product is not automatically excluded simply because it is described as “made to order” or specially ordered from a supplier.

Please check and approve your bespoke specification carefully, including materials, colours, stitching, centre stripe and any other selected options. AI mock-ups are visual guides; the written specification forms the basis of your order.

If you wish to change or cancel a bespoke order, contact us as soon as possible. We will explain whether this is possible and agree any reasonable charges before proceeding. Deposits are not automatically forfeited in every circumstance.

Your rights where bespoke goods are faulty, not as described or do not match the agreed specification remain unaffected.

8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, contact us with your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs or videos can help us assess it, where practical.

You normally have a legal right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery for a refund. After that period, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement, and in certain circumstances a price reduction or refund.

We will cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described. Please contact us so we can arrange a suitable return method.

Do not continue using a product if you suspect a fault that could affect safety.

9. Three-month warranty

All products purchased directly from us include a three-month warranty from delivery, provided by Carbon Performance Ltd using the contact details above. This warranty applies to purchases delivered within the United Kingdom.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults in materials or workmanship arising during normal, intended use.

Under this additional warranty, we will assess the fault and provide a repair or replacement without charge. If neither is reasonably available, we will offer an appropriate refund. Necessary postage costs for a covered claim will be paid by us.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Incorrect installation, misuse, accidents or neglect.
• Unauthorised alterations or repairs that cause the fault.
• Unsuitable cleaning chemicals or failure to follow care instructions.
• Normal wear and tear or cosmetic deterioration consistent with ordinary use.

These exclusions apply only where the relevant cause is responsible for the problem. Having a product fitted by an independent installer does not automatically invalidate cover.

To claim, contact us with your order number or other proof of purchase and details of the fault.

This warranty is additional to your statutory rights. Those rights do not end after three months, and you may still be entitled to a remedy after the warranty expires.

10. Installation and safe use

Automotive components must be installed correctly and used only for their intended purpose. We strongly recommend installation by a suitably qualified professional, particularly for steering wheels, electrical components and parts associated with safety systems.

Check compatibility and inspect the product before installation. Follow the relevant fitting instructions and retain any installation records.

We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect fitting, misuse or modifications unrelated to a product defect. This does not exclude responsibility for defective goods, incorrect instructions or any fitting-related costs we are legally required to cover.

11. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing restricts your statutory consumer rights.

12. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website.

13. Complaints

Please email info@carbon-performanceuk.com with your order number and details of your concern. We will investigate and work with you to resolve it.

If we cannot resolve a complaint, we will provide any information about alternative dispute resolution required by law.

14. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws applicable where you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law permits.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version provided when your order is placed will apply to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
